Editorial standards
Editorial Policy
Our priority is useful, accurate guidance that makes the evidence, limits, and commercial context clear.
Our purpose
Interior Design Pad publishes practical, source-backed guidance for homeowners planning fixtures, finishes, furniture, remodeling, and new construction. Interactive 3D Home Designs LLC owns and operates the publication.
Editorial responsibility
Content is published under the byline Interior Design Pad Editorial Team unless a different credited author is shown.
Source standards
We prefer primary and authoritative sources for factual claims. These may include:
- Official manufacturer specifications and installation documents
- Current agency and code resources
- Original plans, schedules, and design visuals cleared for publication
- Current retailer information used only for availability context
Historical project records may provide useful examples, but they do not establish that a product is currently available, compatible, or recommended.
Product coverage
We do not invent product facts, specifications, availability, pricing, or performance claims. A product is not presented as current until the relevant facts have been checked. Recommendations consider the reader’s decision and constraints. They are not based solely on brand recognition, retailer placement, or future commission potential.
Concepts, completed work, and visual treatment
Design concepts are labeled as concepts. We do not portray an unbuilt design as completed construction. Private project records and inspiration imagery without documented publication rights are not published. Material AI treatment of an original visual cleared for publication is disclosed.
Safety and professional limits
Our content supports planning and research. It does not replace manufacturer instructions, site-specific measurements, permits, code review, engineering, or advice from an appropriately licensed professional.
Commercial relationships
Interior Design Pad currently does not publish affiliate links, display advertising, paid placements, or sponsored recommendations. If commercial relationships are introduced, they will be disclosed clearly. They will not purchase favorable editorial conclusions.
Corrections and updates
We correct material factual errors and update time-sensitive information when practical. An update date or correction note may be added when a change affects the substance of a guide.
How the standards are applied
Read the methodology for the research, verification, labeling, and correction process behind each guide.
